Using ‘Undo Pending Changes…’

This area can be used to return items back to their previous version. The Checked Out version of the item is removed and the last Checked In version is reinstated.

Undo Pending Changes to Composition of a Raw Material

Select a User to generate a list of Raw Materials in the process of having composition information added or edited. To change the status, select the Raw Material of interest from the list and select ‘Undo Pending Changes’ and confirm. This returns the Raw Material to the previous state (prior to selecting Add or Modify Raw Material Composition).

Further Information: Usually, when a User starts an addition or modification of a Raw Material Composition it is completed in one attempt and when the User selects ‘Save & Check In’, the Raw Material Composition is Checked In and available for normal use. Occasionally, through choice (by selecting ‘Interim Save’ during the process) or by accident (exiting the application before selecting ‘Save & Check In’) a Raw Material Composition may be left in a Checked Out state and a different User may need to return the Raw Material to a normal state. The option to Undo Pending Changes to Composition of a Raw Material is available to find Raw Materials in a Checked Out state, and return them to their previous state.

Undo Pending Changes to Composition of Formulation

Select a User to generate a list of Formulations in the process of having composition information added or edited. The list shows Formulations in a Checked Out state. To change the status, select the Formulation of interest from the list and select ‘Undo Pending Changes’. This returns the Formulation to the previous Checked In state.

Further Information: This function is sometimes used if a Formulation Developer is not available and the formulation is needed in a Normal state urgently.
